I’m Megan M. Evans,
personal stylist and founder of the well coiffed closet.
As a Certified Image Consultant, Megan Evans has worked with women and men of all shapes and sizes since founding The Well Coiffed Closet in 2010 in New York City. Her passion is helping real people discover their own personal style through the right silhouettes for their body type and the best colors for their skin tones.
"Fashion is not just an art, it's also a science" says Evans. "It's about finding those right elements that cater to your body whether it's a specific neckline, width of a strap, or what parts of your body you want to accentuate or camouflage." Evans prides herself on her organic process with clients, as each person is unique.
With a background in Celebrity Public Relations and a client roster across the country, Evans understands the importance of personal image and how that translates to the level of confidence a person has every day. Having worked with everyone from stay-at-home moms to Fortune 500 CEO’s, as well as, actors and TV personalities, she says “Feeling good about what you put on in the morning directly relates to how confident you are throughout your day. It doesn’t matter if you are dropping your kids off at school or walking into a major pitch meeting, it’s just as important for everyone.”
Evans has been featured in Real Simple Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today, has done two personal shopping events with fashion designer, Cynthia Rowley, styled photo shoots for Verily Magazine and The Local Palate, and enjoys giving talks to new mother support groups when her schedule allows.
Currently based in Nashville, Evans also maintains a presence in both New York and Los Angeles and leaves Charleston to her trusted colleague, Elizabeth. When not traveling, Evans spends time with her husband, Craig, a Creative Director and co-founder of the Southern brand they launched together in 2014 called Y’allsome, and their Southern rescue pup, Hawk.
